Knowledge and attitude among medical students in Khartoum, Sudan toward digital health 2023-2025: A multi-center study

Digital health represents a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare that leverages technology to improve health outcomes and system efficiency. As digital transformation continues to reshape global healthcare, medical education must evolve to prepare future physicians with digital competencies. In Sudan, however, limited research has explored medical students’ understanding and attitudes toward digital health, particularly amidst ongoing conflict and resource constraints. This study aimed to assess the knowledge, and attitude of medical students in Sudan toward digital health, as well as to identify perceived barriers to its effective integration within the national health system and medical curricula.
