Can you predict the outcome of a football match based on historical data?
The data for this challenge was collected over 3 years, following 23 teams in an African country. The player and team's names have been masked.
The data includes shots, passes, tackles, and dribbles - any action that happens on the field of play is recorded, along with the location the event happened in (X and Y coordinates). For the case of passes, there are also end X and end Y locations - where the pass came from and went to, as well as who passed and who received the ball.
The train set is two seasons and the test one season.
