A first descriptive monograph (Garaoun, 2022) presents the phonologicaland morphosyntactic system of their Arabic dialect. This second article focuses on the lexiconof the same variety. We will focus our analysis on the question of contact, classifying the unitsby origin in terms of languages or linguistic strata, before questioning what these will provideus with on the history of the Aït Mâad and their linguistic variety. LesAït/Bni Mâad sont une confédération bilingue arabe-berbère à prédominance arabophone,siégeant en Kabylie orientale (nord-est algérien), entre la corniche jijélienne et le massifdes Babors. Une première monographie descriptive (Garaoun, 2022) présente le systèmephonologique et morphosyntaxique du parler mâadi. Ce second article se concentre sur lelexique du même parler. Nous concentrerons notre analyse sur la question du contact, enclassant les unités par origine en termes de langues ou de strates linguistiques, avant dequestionner ce que celles-ci nous apprennent sur l’histoire des Aït Mâad et de leur variétélinguistique.
