This research project is a scoping review that aims to map and synthesize the available evidence on leprosy case detection and/or diagnostic delay in Ethiopia. The review aims to identify and categorize existing literature on the social, behavioral, health-service delivery, and program factors associated with delayed diagnosis. The expected outcome is a comprehensive overview of existing evidence that can inform future research priorities and policy to improve early diagnosis and reduce leprosy-related disability in Ethiopia.
