Staffrider magazine was a South African literary and cultural magazaine that ran from 1978 to 1993. 37 issues of the magazine were published in total. The magazine was an anti-apartheid platform and included writing from across South Africa as well as from other Southern African countries. Most of the content was in English, but examples of other South African languages were included. This dataset was compiled manually from the digitized versions of Staffrider magazine that are available by Digital Innovation South Africa at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa (disa.ukzn.ac.za). All links to PDF versions of the magazine included in this dataset are from this online digital archive.
