Data was collected from self-reported surveys. Node size and link line width are proportional to number of interactions at taxa-level (number of taxa the node interacted with) and link-level (value of self-reported and observed contacts summed), respectively. Colours illustrate people in yellow, wildlife in red, peri-domestic animals in green, and domestic animals in purple. Animal-to-animal data comes from observations by participants who recorded seeing an animal touching or getting very close to another animal. A. Seen last week (background questionnaire), B. Seen during the week of diary completion. C. Correlation between matching pairwise interactions. Labels in gray represent interaction of nodes from different groups.
