This is a country level malaria risk (people at risk, PAR) for Africa, derived from the analyses in: Ryan SJ, Lippi CA, Zermoglio F. Shifting transmission risk for malaria in Africa with climate change: a framework for planning and intervention. Malar J. 2020;19: 170. doi:10.1186/s12936-020-03224-6 This is a flat file of estimated people at risk (PAR) at baseline and RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 futures (2030, 2050, 2080) of suitable temperatures for malaria transmission for 4 'slices' of seasons: Marginal (MAR) - 1-3 months; Moderate (MOD) - 4-6 months; Seasonal (SEA) - 7-9 months; and Endemic (END) - 10-12 months. First field is an index; Second Country, remaining fields scenarios with the convention e.g. RCP45_2030_MAR_PAR. Basline scenarios take the convention e.g. BAS_MAR_PAR. This dataset is derived from the original analysis, to yield country-level estimates for baseline and future predictions of people at risk.
