Malawi Towards The Journey To 2030 Universal Access

This presentation constitutes the outcome of a three-weeks capacity building activity on GEP-OnSSET as part of the 2024 Energy Modelling Platform - Global workshop. The authors collectedinput data, set parameters, calibrated the model, and run electrification investment scenarios forMalawi in order to explore pathways leading to the achievement of electrificationtargets. The results of this analysis are not conclusive, but rather the output of experimentationwith the model and thus only indicative.
