This study examines the effects of coastal storms on the sustainability of seafood enterprises, particularly fish marketing and distribution businesses. Coastal storms pose significant risks to business operations by causing loss of lives, fishing equipment, capital, and disruptions to supply chains. These challenges have contributed to declining participation in the fish business, reduced profitability, frequent stock-outs, and increased customer preference for alternative products such as imported fish. The study further highlights inadequate fishing and transportation infrastructure as major factors exacerbating business vulnerability. It concludes that effective risk management strategies, improved fishing technologies, and investment in water transportation infrastructure are essential to enhance business resilience, ensure continuity of seafood supply, and promote the long-term sustainability of coastal fishing enterprises
