The study investigated the management of the future of multidisciplinary education through Alhuman partnership for innovations in public universities in Cross River State, Nigeria. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. Three research questions were raised and one hypothesis formulated to direct the study. A sample of 400 lecturers, representing approximately 6.4% of the population was drawn through stratified random sampling technique from a population 6,231 lecturers across the two public universities in Cross River State, University of Calabar (Federal) and University of Cross River State (State). Data for the study were collected using two researcher-developed instruments: the Multidisciplinary Education and AI-Human Partnership Scale (MEAHPS) and the Innovation and Problem-Solving Inventory (IPSI). The instruments were subjected to Cronbach's Alpha reliability analysis. The coefficients obtained were 0.82 for MEAHPS and 0.86 for IPSI. The data collected were analyzed using mean scores and standard deviation for answering the research questions, and independent t-test to determine significant differences in responses. Findings revealed that institutional administrators recognized the transformative role of Al-human partnerships in enhancing innovation and problem-solving capacities within multidisciplinary educational contexts. However, the integration of Al tools remains constrained by infrastructural inadequacies, low digital literacy, and lack of strategic policies. The study concluded that effective AI-human collaboration is vital to the future of higher education, especially in addressing complex interdisciplinary challenges. It recommends among others that universities invest in Al infrastructure, build staff capacity through professional development, and adopt clear frameworks for integrating Al tools in academic and administrative practices.
