This dataset includes output data from the following article: Oladimeji Mudele, Marissa Childs, Jayden Personnat, and Christopher Golden. 2024. Mapping forests and deforestation activities in Madagascar using satellite imagery. Under Review.   Forest agreement maps covering 2016 to 2020 obtained from comparing seven remote sensing data products can be found files with names in this format: agreement_map_{YEAR}_30m.tif Forest extent maps for the year 2020 from all data available in that year can be found in file names with the format: {DATA_NAME}_2020_30m.tif, e.g. esri_2020_30M.tif  District-aggregated forested area data extracted and used for temporal analyses can be found in files with names formatted as: forested_area_dustrict_year_{DATA_NAME}.geojson. e.g.    forested_area_dustrict_year_{DW}.geojson for Dynamic World data.  District-aggregated deforested area data extracted and used for temporal analyses can be found in files with names formatted as:  in: deforested_area_dustrict_year_{DATA_NAME}.geojson. e.g.    deforested_area_dustrict_year_{DW}.geojson for Dynamic World data. Madagascar_admin_boundaries.zip contains the administrative boundaries of Madagascar, obtained from here.  All raster data are available as GeoTIFF raster files at 30m resolution and coordinate reference system EPSG:4326.
