Project - The Measuring Urban Sanitation and Empowerment (MUSE) project developed and validated the Agency, Resources, and Institutional Structures for Sanitation-related Empowerment (ARISE) Scales to assess 16 sub-domains of women's sanitation-related empowerment.

Data - Survey data were collected among adult women in Meherpur and Saidpur, Bangladesh; Narsapur, Tiruchirappalli, and Warangal, India; Dakar, Senegal; Kampala, Uganda; Lusaka, Zambia between 2021 and 2022.
