District hospitals in Ethiopia face challenges in implementing effective healthcare systems. A difference-in-differences (DiD) approach was employed to analyse pre- and post-intervention data from Ethiopian district hospitals. The DiD model indicated a significant decrease in patient mortality rates by 15% post-intervention compared to the control group, suggesting improved hospital systems. The difference-in-differences analysis provided robust evidence for the effectiveness of the implemented healthcare reforms. Further research should explore long-term impacts and scalability of these interventions across other regions in Ethiopia. District Hospitals, DiD Model, Healthcare Reform, Risk Reduction Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
