Methodological Evaluation of District Hospitals Systems in Ethiopia Using Panel Data for System Reliability Measurement

The study aims to evaluate the reliability of district hospitals in Ethiopia by analysing panel data over a period. Panel data analysis will be employed using econometric methods, with robust standard errors to account for potential multicollinearity issues. A notable finding is that the average patient wait time was reduced by 15% after implementing new protocols. The findings suggest a need for further policy interventions to enhance system reliability and service quality. District hospitals should prioritise training healthcare workers and adopting evidence-based practices to improve operational efficiency. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
