This dataset contains qualitative materials collected during fieldwork conducted in Morocco and Senegal. The data were generated through semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, direct observation, and visual documentation, aiming to capture social, environmental, and territorial contexts. The dataset is organized into five main components: 1. Audio data (qualitative interviews and focus groups)This subset includes 36 recorded interviews and 3 focus group discussions in .mp3 format, with a total volume of 0.645 GB. The recordings were conducted in multiple languages, including French, Arabic, Spanish, and local languages (Amazigh, Wolof, and Pulaar). 2. Video data (field recordings)This subset consists of 4 video recordings (.mp4, 0.33 GB) documenting selected locations visited during the fieldwork in Morocco and Senegal. The videos provide contextual visual information about the study settings. 3. Textual data (transcriptions)This subset includes 18 files (.docx, .txt, .pdf; 37.9 MB) containing transcriptions of interviews and focus groups. Transcriptions were produced manually without the use of specialized transcription software. 4. Field notesField notes are provided in .docx and .pdf formats (27.5 MB) and contain observational records produced during fieldwork. These documents may include potentially identifiable information. 5. Visual data (photographs)This subset comprises 266 images (.jpg, .png; 0.666 GB) documenting territorial, environmental, and social contexts. Some photographs may include identifiable individuals. Ethical considerationsDue to the qualitative nature of the data, some materials (audio, images, and field notes) may contain personal or sensitive information.
