This is especially due to the fall in price of hardware and the availability of affordable software. Some businesses have adopted stand alone systems for purposes of enhancing the operational efficiency of their branches. An affordable tool that would monitor the activities of each branch remotely and provide information to the manager(s) is required. With availability of smart phones and tablets, its only better that such a tool provides a mobile interface so that the monitoring can be done on the go.
