Morabaraba Optimization Algorithm

The Morabaraba Optimization Algorithm (MOA) is a population-based metaheuristic inspired by the  traditional Southern African board game Morabaraba (also known as Twelve Men’s Morris). Each candidate solution is modelled as a player (cow). The principal novelty is mill-formation cooperative competitive selection: when three teammates align their values along a structural board line, they  jointly remove a “cow” from the worst opposing-team agent, so that selection is driven by geometric alignment in decision space rather than by fitness ranking alone. Without loss of generality, MOA is formulated as a minimization algorithm; any maximization problem is handled by negating the objective function.
