Motion Events 0136-Motion Events A description and documentation of Avatime

Susan describes what she sees in the 'ECOM' clips. Then she describes some motion events demonstrated by Saskia with duplo materials. Susan gives a description of the ECOM clips (Bohnemeyer & Caelen 1999). This is a set of video clips of moving geometrical shapes. They are meant to find out information about how motion events are encoded. However, this did not work with Susan. She made up stories of what happened and why, rather than sticking to the rather abstract description of the motion that the clips are meant to elicit. After this, Susan describes several motion events that are demonstrated by Saskia using duplo materials. Susan describes the clips and duplo motion events in Avatime. Saskia explains the tasks in English and asks 'what happened' in between the clips/events in Avatime. Susan speaks mostly on this recording, Saskia asks a question every now and then. The recording has been transcribed and translated by Adzoyo and Saskia.
