Nafaanra: Full Dataset 2017

This PDF includes data for all speakers who participated in the 2017 Nafaanra color naming data collection. A total of 10 Nafaanra speakers participated in the 2017 study. For 2 speakers (pgs 76-79; 80-83), participants responded strictly following the WCS protocol, meaning that only terms without a source could be given. However, participants struggled to provide any response for a large number of chips and were frustrated with the task. Therefore, for the remaining participants, a free response method was used, meaning speakers simply provided the color term they thought best suited the chip without emphasis on the WCS basic color terms. Data contain sheets contain both the data from the chip naming task and the focal color task.
