Nurse-patient communication is a process of exchanging information between nurses and patients. It is a critical part of the healthcare encounter, as it allows nurses to assess the patient's needs, provide care, and build rapport. Nurse’s communication skills, the patient's characteristics, and the healthcare setting may hinder nurse-patient communication. The aim of this scoping review is to explore the evidence on nurse-patient communication and its predictors in Ethiopia.
