Nutritional, behavioral and anthropometric risk factors associated with cancer among adults in Nouakchott, Mauritania — Anonymized dataset

Cross-sectional study conducted among 1,000 adults in Nouakchott, Mauritania (January–April 2026). This anonymized dataset contains nutritional, behavioral and anthropometric variables. Ethics: Ref. 047-2026/MS/CNERS. Version 2 adds the moughataa variable, used as the clustering unit for variance estimation in the design-based analyses reported in the associated article. The commune variable is retained to document that each moughataa in Nouakchott corresponds to a single commune. The file contains three sheets: README (study metadata and anonymization notes), Data (1,000 observations × 71 variables), and Data_Dictionary (variable names, labels and types).
