This dataset contains anonymized data collected through a household survey conducted in the pre-Saharan oases of Morocco. It was compiled to examine the relationships between exposure to climate change, adaptive capacity, household mobility/migration, and socio-economic cohesion.
The data were collected from household heads using a structured questionnaire and include information on household socio-economic characteristics, perceptions of and exposure to environmental and climatic changes, adaptation strategies, mobility, and various indicators of social and socio-economic cohesion.
The dataset is intended to support the statistical analyses presented in the associated scientific article. The data have been anonymized to protect the confidentiality of participants. A data dictionary is provided to facilitate understanding of the variables, response categories, and indicators used in the analyses.
This dataset may be used for research purposes, verification of findings, and replication of the analyses, subject to responsible data-use principles and the protection of participants’ confidentiality.
