AIRA is an open-source orchestration framework that automates the deployment of a private 4G/5G cellular core network using the Open5GS and srsRAN software stacks, combined with low-cost Software Defined Radio (SDR) and ESP32-based access-point hardware. Rather than relying on a live internet backhaul, AIRA allows a single local machine to operate as an independent Mobile Network Operator (MNO) core, providing offline cellular connectivity, local VoIP calling, and a cached educational content-delivery layer to end-user devices over standard cellular and Wi-Fi radio links.   This repository is customized as an offline digital-education node, with an initial deployment profile supporting offline connectivity and cached educational/AI knowledge resources for children in South Sudan, an area where reliable internet backhaul is often unavailable.   Key components: - Open5GS core network orchestration (SMF, UPF) - srsRAN-based radio access integration over SDR - ESP32 local Wi-Fi/NAT gateway hardware - Automated subscriber and routing management - Flask-based offline content delivery server for cached educational content   Licensed under the MIT License.
