Organizational Readiness for Advanced Practice Nursing Implementation in Morocco

The implementation of advanced practice nurses (APNs) is a key driver of the reform of Morocco’s national health care system. The success of this measure depends on an understanding of the organizational readiness for it. This study explores how the perceived role of APNs influences this readiness. To this end, a quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted among 206 Moroccan healthcare professionals using an electronic questionnaire. The results reveal that the perception of the role of nurse practitioners has a positive and significant effect on organizational readiness (β = 0.52; p < 0.001).
