This is the first recording and data of the Pluractionality elicitation
sessions conducted for Kibiri, using the stimuli materials created by Moisés Velasquez
with the Kibiri community in 2022. For pluractionality, Kibiri uses three marking means:
suffixation through -sto, partial reduplication of the verb and suppletion. This first
recording explores the following Intransitive stative verbs (the second verb of the pair
is the suppletive plural form): e/teri 'to lie (on the ground)', 'ibio' to stay, ete/ure
'to stand', tete/kaiwo 'to hang', bai 'to stand, to float, to fly', kikiriwo 'to lean
against sth'. The link to the stimuli materials will soon be available to
access.
