This document constitutes the founding Pioneer Declaration of Pluriversal AI™ — an
original philosophical, architectural, and sociotechnical paradigm first conceptualized,
named, and published by Naomi Kilungu on LinkedIn in June 2025
(linkedin.com), and formally deposited on Zenodo under DOI:
10.5281/zenodo.19161260. Pluriversal AI fundamentally rejects monolithic,
Western-centric AI epistemologies in favor of a framework that dynamically
accommodates multiple worldviews, knowledge systems, ethical traditions, and
reasoning mechanisms within a single intelligent system. Drawing on decolonial theory,
African ubuntu philosophy, epistemic pluralism, and complexity science, this framework
proposes that artificial intelligence must not be designed as a universal tool imposing a
single cultural logic on all of humanity, but rather as a pluriversal system — one in
which many AI worlds coexist, each grounded in its own cultural and epistemic
traditions. This declaration establishes Naomi Kilungu's intellectual priority as the
pioneer of the Pluriversal AI paradigm and outlines its foundational principles,
architecture, applications in African peacebuilding, and governance implications.
