HM-ERK is a portable, low-cost Health Monitoring and Emergency Response Kit designed for low-resource and remote areas. The system continuously tracks vital signs such as heart rate, oxygen saturation, temperature, and blood pressure using integrated biosensors and an ESP32 microcontroller. Data is securely stored in an Android mobile application, which operates both offline and in the cloud. A lightweight on-device AI module analyzes the data in real time, providing health guidance and automatically alerting emergency contacts when serious conditions are detected. The prototype demonstrates a practical, privacy-focused solution to improve early detection and emergency response in underserved regions.
