It is with great pleasure and a deep sense of responsibility that we introduce the maiden edition of the Parrot: A Multi-Disciplinary Journal of the Federal College of Education, Iwo, Osun State. This journal marks a significant milestone in our commitment to fostering research across all fields of education and beyond. The core mission of most academic institutions focuses on teaching, research and community service. As such, the journal aspires to be a beacon of academic excellence, dedicated to publishing credible and impactful research articles that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the betterment of society.Parrot which is the name of the journal is a symbol of the mysterious Iwo iconic bird referred to in Yoruba as Odidere (Ayekooto), which has both historical and spiritual features. In an era where the boundaries of disciplines are increasingly intersecting, the Parrot Journal is positioned to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas across diverse fields. We believe that the integration of insights from various disciplines is essential to addressing the complex challenges of our time. We therefore welcome contributions from scholars in the sciences, humanities, social sciences, engineering, technology, education, and all other fields of study, fostering a collaborative and inclusive research environment. The journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and rigor. Each article submitted undergoes a meticulous peer-review process, ensuring that only the most robust and innovative research is published. We are dedicated to supporting the dissemination of knowledge that has the potential to make a real and lasting impact on both academic circles and society at large.
