This documentation forms the basis for the realization, implementation and management of the project prototype(s) of simplified hydroponics and community garden. This version includes the case study realized in the Tunisia Food Hub (Jundouba) and in the Ethiopian one (Akaki / Nifas Silk). It includes the prototype objectives, general considerations and recommendations together with the following two sections: - the prototype section that provides a scientific-technological description of the R&I process carried out to realize the prototype (final innovative method / system / tool / product) as result of the testing phase in lab / at small-scale level (WP4) and feedback gathered from the in-field validation (WP5). According to the impact pathway approach, it describes the conducted activities, the reached outputs and outcomes, and the obtained measures of relevant key performance indicators demonstrating the impact; - the protocol section that adopts an operational perspective to describe how to implement and manage the prototype, thus ensuring its full functionality and usability. It includes deployment requirements, procedures, methods, techniques, and practical considerations. Moreover, the protocols generate guidelines (D4.2), practice abstracts (D6.5) and training materials (D5.1).
