The present study deals with quantifiers in Seereer, a language belonging to the West Atlantic branch of the Niger- Congo family. More specific research questions concern the uses, the places and functioning of this language’s quantifier determiners. Thus, their uses depend on the meaning the speaker wants to express even if they are placed after or before the noun they determine.
