The rapid growth of digital technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Analytics, presents a unique opportunity to transform the teaching and learning of economics across the continent. This paper explores the integration of AI and Data Analytics into economics curricula as a strategy to modernize education, enhance student engagement, and equip graduates with practical skills required in contemporary economic environments. By incorporating AI tools and data-driven methodologies, educators can create personalized learning experiences, facilitate real-time analysis of economic phenomena, and design hands-on projects that contextualize theoretical concepts.
