Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS) embody rich ecological intelligence, cultural memory, and relational worldviews, yet remain marginalised within contemporary AI-driven knowledge ecosystems. This study proposes a Mixed-Methods Techno–Cultural Convergence Model (TCCM) to examine how ancestral wisdom can be meaningfully integrated with artificial intelligence in the 21st century. Using Indigenous story-work and thematic analysis, followed by Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM), the research identifies cultural identity, ethical AI trust, and IKS–AI compatibility as key drivers of AI adoption. The findings demonstrate that culturally aligned and ethically governed AI can support Indigenous knowledge revitalisation rather than epistemic erosion.
