Religious Identities in Morocco: Analysis of Social and Cultural Dynamics through Social Data Science

This article analyses the construction of morality in Morocco as a space for negotiation where Islamic references interact with social and cultural dynamics. Focusing on online controversies relating to the status of women, the research examines how religious discourse is mobilised in issues of power and gender hierarchies. The mixed methodology combines a qualitative approach with a computational analysis (social data science) of digital discourse in order to capture transformations in religious identity.
