Replication Data for: Career Path Decisions and Influencing Factors among Medical Students in Tanzania

This dataset captures the career preferences and influencing factors affecting medical students in Tanzania. Data was collected via a structured Google Form questionnaire and compiled into an Excel spreadsheet. It includes responses from participants across various medical institutions in the country. The dataset consists primarily of numerical data with categorical codes, representing students’ career intentions, personal influences, external influences, and demographic information. Each coded variable corresponds to defined categories detailed in an accompanying codebook, ensuring clarity and consistency for analysis. The dataset has been cleaned and coded, aligning with planned statistical analyses. It is suitable for quantitative research examining trends, associations, or predictive models related to medical career decision-making in low-resource or sub-Saharan African contexts.
