This is a replication dataset for the manuscript "Prevalence, risk and protective factors for common mental disorders among young people living with HIV compared to their uninfected peers from the Kenyan Coast: A cross-sectional study"

This dataset contains data collected from young people living with HIV (n=406) and their uninfected peers (n=406) from the Kenyan coast. The purpose was to investigate the prevalence and correlates of mental health outcomes (depression and anxiety) by comparing this two groups. We collected data (sociodemographic, psychosocial and for key outcomes) through face to face interviews and using audio-computer assisted self-interview (ACASI), for instruments asking about sensitive/personal information.
