Replication dataset and reproducibility notebook for the Cognitive Inflation scenario-modelling study

This Zenodo record contains the cleaned derived dataset and reproducibility notebook for the manuscript “Cognitive inflation: a novel macroeconomic metric to quantify GDP loss from climate-driven micronutrient decline in Sub-Saharan Africa.” The files support the ecological scenario-modelling analysis estimating modelled IQ-equivalent cognitive loss, annual economic burden, and Cognitive Inflation across 20 Sub-Saharan African countries under 2025 economic structure with 2050 nutrient-shock assumptions. Included files: FINAL_RESULTS_2025_STRUCTURE.csv: cleaned derived dataset used as the source of truth for the manuscript, supplementary tables, figures, and reported results. reproduce_cognitive_inflation_analysis.ipynb: reproducibility notebook used to calculate summary statistics, country-level outputs, and figures. The estimates are scenario-based model outputs and should not be interpreted as observed or predicted changes in measured national IQ or definitive GDP forecasts.
