Report from HIV surveillance stakeholders' validation workshop on priority HIV surveillance indicators and systems in the context of an evolving HIV epidemic

The KpK project organized a Stakeholder Validation Workshop on 17th February 2026 in Lilongwe (Malawi) to discuss findings of the desk review and qualitative study and elicit recommendations on future HIV surveillance methods and priority indicators. Workshop participants included senior Ministry of Health officials, National AIDS Commission leadership, HIV and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) program managers, and representatives of HIV implementing partners and agencies at national and district levels.
