SaharaFlora Pro is a specialized scientific software integrating long-term field observations on plant domestication in arid ecosystems of southwestern Algeria. The software covers ecological, ethnobotanical, pharmaceutical, and melliferous characteristics of multiple plant species across several arid ecological zones extending from Northwest Africa to Western Asia.

This release is an alpha demonstration version intended for scientific visibility and academic citation. A full commercial version — including extended datasets, detailed germination protocols, regional variants, and advanced analytical modules — is under active development and distributed under a separate proprietary license.

The software is based on original field research conducted over a decade in the arid regions of southwestern Algeria, and on:

- Selkh et al. (2022), Ukrainian Journal of Ecology — DOI: 10.15421/2022_397
- PhD dissertation defended on February 16, 2026, Department of Biological Sciences, Kasdi Merbah University, Ouargla, Algeria.

For access to the full commercial version, institutional licenses, research collaborations, or consulting services: please contact the author directly (ORCID: 0000-0002-1538-7135).
