Immediate postpartum long-acting reversible contraception (IPP LARC) is a high-impact intervention to reduce unmet need for family planning and prevent short-interval pregnancies. While Ethiopia has integrated IPP LARC into its national guidelines, the overall landscape of evidence—encompassing uptake, influencing factors, outcomes, and implementation challenges—has not been comprehensively mapped. This scoping review aims to systematically identify and chart the existing literature on IPP LARC use in Ethiopia.
