The data consists of individual-level (anonymised) 7-day, free-living pedometry data for 789 participants (female = 516, males = 273) between the ages 14-96 years, from a rural African setting (Dikgale Health and Demographic Surveillance System site, Limpopo Province, South Africa). A number of additional variables are included (age, sex, village, month/season, anthropometric, resting heart rate & blood pressure, activity energy expenditure).
