doi.org Here we present the dataset and code for the publication “Sniffing speeds up chemical detection by
controlling air-flows near sensors”. It includes:
i) the sound recordings of sniffing bouts from an African elephant (Zoo Atlanta) and dog, giraffe, mouse,
and rat (YouTube recordings). Additionally, we include links to the original rat, dog, giraffe, and horse YouTube videos.
ii) the signal of a MOX gas sensor exposed to ethanol, acquired with the developed flow oscillatory
system, ie, Gaseous Recognition Oscillatory Machine Integrating Technology (GROMIT).
