Socioeconomic challenges require individuals and societies to understand economic and institutional processes. This study examines socioeconomic awareness as an educational policy resource in Morocco's development context. It aims to identify its potential effects, including improved resilience, greater formalization, and stronger reform legitimacy, as well as to analyze key constraints such as educational inequality, informality, and low institutional trust.

The paper adopts a conceptual and policy-oriented approach supported by a comparative review of selected international models (Nordic countries, Germany, Canada, and South Korea) and illustrative descriptive evidence derived from secondary data. Based on this analysis, it proposes a five-pillar educational policy strategy covering curriculum integration, vocational education and training, digital learning platforms, territorial targeting, and institutional monitoring.

The study suggests that socioeconomic awareness may function as a complementary institutional resource supporting governance and reform implementation. Policy implications include integrating economic competencies into school curricula, expanding dual vocational training, developing digital learning tools for adults, and introducing a monitoring mechanism through the proposed SocioEconomic Awareness Index (SEAI).

The study is limited by its reliance on secondary data and calls for future empirical validation of the proposed strategy.
