Some Traditional Farming Practices In Jbala Country (Northwest Morocco): An Ethnolinguistic Approach To Sustainable Development

In this article, we will try to collect the linguistic-cultural heritage relating to some traditional agricultural practices of the tribe of Bni Qoṛṛa which belongs to the Jbala region (north-west of Morocco). First, we will present the lexical richness illustrating the diversity of local peasant agricultural practices as well as the main phonetic and morpho-syntactic traits that characterize the language of this region. Secondly, we will show that the preservation and promotion of this linguistic-cultural heritage opens up interesting opportunities for the sustainable development of this region.
