The gully erosion susceptibility map used in this study was generated as part of a separate analysis focused on understanding erosion risk in the Upper Awash River Basin. The mapping procedure was based on field-mapped gully inventory data collected from the Lam sub-basin, which is representative of high erosion activity within the basin. A total of 584 gully initiation points were used as training data, and five machine learning algorithms. This is the updated version of the R codes used in the data analysis and image processing.
