Stakeholder driven climate services for South Africa (STADCLIM-SA): Views of stakeholders on climate services based on interviews

The objective of this report is to summarise the results of qualitative, semi-structured interviews undertaken with representatives of the 10 priority sectors covered by the National Framework for Climate Services for South Africa (NFCS-SA). It complements a related report which presents findings of quantitative surveys focusing on agriculture and food security, disaster risk reduction, energy and human settlements. 

This work was carried out under the Work Package 4 of Weather and Climate Science for Service Partnership Programme (WCSSP) for South Africa which focuses on the development of prototype climate services. The objective of the WCSSP for South Africa is to promote and strengthen scientific partnerships and collaboration between the UK and South Africa in the area of weather and climate science and services.
