This repository contains all standard operating procedures (SOPs) used in the TiNTS study (Transmission dynamics for invasive Non-Typhoidal Salmonella serovars), a prospective cohort study conducted in Blantyre, Malawi. The SOPs cover laboratory and field procedures for the collection, processing, and analysis of stool and environmental samples, including microbiological culture, PCR, and serology protocols. Also included is the completed STROBE (Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology) checklist to accompany the TiNTS study protocol paper. These materials are provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and harmonisation with future transmission studies of enteric pathogens.
