This Stakeholder Engagement Handbook outlines the STRATEGIC project’s approach to engaging diverse stakeholders in the ethical, inclusive, and context-sensitive development of Digital Health Technologies (DHTs) in Sub-Saharan Africa. It details how stakeholders—from academia, policy, industry, research, and civil society—have been identified and actively involved through interviews, focus groups, co-creation workshops, and targeted training. The handbook also introduces the STRATEGIC E-Community, an online platform designed to support ongoing collaboration, knowledge sharing, and capacity building beyond the project’s duration. Overall, the handbook captures STRATEGIC’s commitment to decolonial, participatory governance in digital health.
