Objective: To study the socio-professional context of medical imaging technicians in Cameroon. Methodology: This was a cross-sectional qualitative study conducted on 319 medical imaging technicians in Cameroon who completed a data collection questionnaire. The questionnaire was an electronic form (Google Form) created using Google Forms, analyzed via Google Drive, and drafted into Microsoft Word 2010. Results: The medical imaging workforce was composed of senior technicians (43%), field engineers (37%), design engineers (19%), and PhDs (1%), with professional experience ranging from 1 to 15 years. They worked in private, public, and non-professional sector, some of whom also engaged in extracurricular activities. They have a modest salary ranging from 50,000 to 3,500,000 CFA francs. Conclusion: The socio-professional context of medical imaging technicians remains heterogeneous but evolving, despite the complexities of their increasing professional responsibilities.
