This data repository provides the datasets associated with analysis conducted in Tárano et al. (2026), citation below.

The file sudan_points_2024-12-13.csv provides a reference dataset covering four regions in Sudan: Al Jazirah, Al Qadarif, three localities in North Darfur, and Southern Kordofan.

Reference samples are temporally aligned to agricultural years, comprising a pre-war baseline year (2022) and subsequent conflict years (2023 and 2024). For example, 2022: Does this pixel contain active cropland? and crop_2022 correspond to the period beginning April 2022 through end of March 2023, with subsequent years following the same convention (e.g., crop_2023 corresponds to April 2023-March 2024). The analysis-ready label columns are provided as crop_202x, where each column contains the finalized class labels for the corresponding agricultural year.

Additional details and annotations for specific samples are provided in the column labeled Notes about preparation, greening, harvest, and other signals:.
