Supporting Data and Materials for Systematic Review and Bibliometric Analysis

Supporting data and materials for the article “Digital and AI Readiness in Pre-Service STEM Teacher Education: A Bibliometric Mapping and Systematic Evidence Synthesis with a Focus on Sub-Saharan Africa.” This repository contains the materials underpinning the systematic evidence synthesis and bibliometric analysis reported in the article. The package includes the completed PRISMA 2020 checklist (S1), full database search strategies and eligibility criteria (S2), the study-selection and full-text exclusion audit (S3), the evidence-extraction matrix, MMAT appraisal summary, and semantic coding framework (S4), together with the original Scopus export (D1), original Web of Science Core Collection export (D2), and merged and deduplicated bibliographic dataset (D3). The bibliometric analysis was conducted on 5,412 unique records, while the systematic evidence synthesis included 19 eligible empirical studies. These materials are provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and verification of the search, screening, bibliometric analysis, and systematic synthesis.
